Torreplaya Apartments in Pollensa
Come to Mallorca and discover its diversity
Mallorca is not only an island full of beautiful beaches, it is also an epicentre of Iberian and Roman culture, full of natural and archaeological sites that make it a witness to the history of the Mediterranean.
Ideal for an excursion.
It is a stone cove located 4 km. from the port of Pollensa, and can only be reached on foot or by boat. On the way, you can see curious and interesting elements of Mallorcan folklore, such as an old lime oven, the hole of L’ull de bou, and even the ancient Roman village of Bochoris.
Also, if you are a diver, the cove is an excellent diving spot. But if instead of going down, you prefer to go up, the cove has several climbing routes around it.
It is one of the most emblematic places in the town of Pollensa, located just 10 minutes from the town’s port.
Its main feature, which can be appreciated as soon as you arrive, is the impressive staircase, made up of 365 steps. One for each day of the year.
Access is possible both on foot and by car, and on arriving at the top we can contemplate incomparable views of the port and its bay.
To get to the spectacular lighthouse of Formentor, located an hour away by public transport, it is necessary to go along a road full of curves and surrounded by beautiful scenery. After making the last bend, the profile of a lighthouse over the mountain, defying the sea, comes into view.
Once there, it is inevitable to become one with the surrounding nature, feeling how it envelops you and makes you see the beauty of the world.
